30 –31 july a cable-wakeboard contest is held in central Tønsberg city on a two mast cable system.

The 3rd pond in central Tønsberg city consists of a small lake surrounded by a beautiful green area. This weekend both men and women will battle for the title as the winner of Surfcity and the Norwegian title of the Urban Cable Tour.

Surfcity has got together experienced and recognized riders from the different sports of wakeboarding, kitesurfing, snowboarding and surfing to try their skills on the cablesystem.

The advantage of arranging the contest on a small lake with a two mast cable system is that the water is always calm and the spectators are up close to the contestants as they do their best on the huge obstacles and kickers, simply making it a superb location.
